I'd rather avoid having links in the signature. I too find them disruptive and annoying. Clickable banners have pros and cons but like I said, that's a long-term thing since we don't have the resources to develop that for now.Site staff refers to the writing team mainly. But it's fuzzy since most of the staff also help moderate.
