Not sure if anyone was aware but I stumbled upon this whilst doing some research.

It's essentially the SC version of EVGA's ITX 1060, but with 3GB vram. It's only an eye catcher for me as it uses the superior heatsink design for the card and keeps the same clock speeds. Not a bad idea by EVGA if you ask me. Getting all the perks of the 1060 SC ITX version, but with only 3GB of vram (Which I feel is the sweet spot for 1080p gaming).

I think the cut down core will be negligible if the price is right. I've only wanted the SC version because I hear the standard version is extremely loud. So it's essentially the best of both worlds in my opinion :)

I've seen it go as low as $169 at Jet.com (with the 15% first orders discount). That's dipping right into RX 470 territory. It remains to be seen how future-proof the card will be with its 3GB of RAM, but for now it's largely a non-issue for 1080p gaming. Someone over at r/nvidia also removed the fan shroud and experienced better temps from it.
