Hi everyone! This is my third itx custom loop build. I got Ncase at first and then PC-Q37.
I really enjoy assembling pc, and this time I want to try a sandwich style itx case custom loop.
I finally got nouvolo steck for my build, I will share some pros and cons of steck and ghost S1.
This is my partlist, most of them are used parts.
CPU: AMD 2400G
MB: MSI B350I
GPU: AMD RX 480 8G
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB
SSD: Plextor M9Pe 512 GB
PSU: corsair SF450 platinum
Watercooling parts
CPU : Custom AM4 waterblock
GPU : Bykski RX480
PUMP: Alphacool DDC310
RAD : Alphacool NexXxoS V.2 ST30 240mm
Because of this custom cpu waterblock, I don't need extra space for the pump. I got it from taobao.
I chose Alphacool NexXxoS V.2 ST30 240mm so that I can easily fill in the water.
Here, I gonna share some pros and cons of the case.
Pros:
Less expensive than ghost s1.
Glass side panel.
Because of tophat style, larger rooms for GPU width.(You can choose thinner radiator or fan)
More solutions for 2.5-inch SSD.
Cons:
Harder for hard-tube build because of tophat style.
Worse ventilation than s1.
I used both soft and hard tube in this build, maybe I will try all hard-tube in the future.
