Hello,

With this configuration :
- Case : Aerocool CS107 V2
- Motherboard : Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac

Would you recommend using Noctua NH-D12L as cooler (890g) ?
I'm asking this, since, the board would be installed vertically in this case would not this cooler weighs too much so that it would bend the motherboard ?

I could not find specification about the max weight for this mini-itx board.

Regards,
K.

Hi!

This is not really related to the motherboard, but more on how the CPU cooler is attached to it.
As the mounting system of the NH-D12L cooler comes with a backplate, it is safe to install it in any orientation.

Now, depending of your choice of CPU, this cooler might be overkill. You can check that here: https://ncc.noctua.at/cpus
But if cost and available space are not a problem, an overkill CPU cooler will be able to do its job with its fan spinning slowly and thus quietly.

Have to agree, I'm using the NH-P1 which weighs more, its not caused any issues on the board thus far.
