Interesting ! Though the size is only for the chassis, not the feet (or 230W power brick), so it's quite a bit more in reality. It does have a 45Wh battery, which is remarkable. The potential issues with this system is the same as with laptops: no replaceable or easily upgradable hardware, loud and annoying fan noise, needs a large power brick. Though if a NUC with an external GPU was in your sights, this seems like a better deal.

It seems to be an answer to the question I've heard a few times in this forum: a portable workstation. This would allow you to use any screen, but on the other hand, so would a laptop. So I'm coming up empty with possible scenarios where this is a relevant product. Now if this had an extensible battery, this could be an excellent VR backpack, but at that point the batteries would increase the weight and size so much, you could just as well go with the solutions Zotac and MSI have been releasing.

It would make a good base for a VR 'deck' dedicated to headless use (HMD only).
