Thanks for the help guys (even if half of it is off-topic!).

That i5/mobo combo seems to be a good solid choice. Would you guys recommend a Sugo style cube or a Raven/ Milo case? My GPU is now ~26cm long (but quiet!)

The SG09/10 seems like a good performer, if you can look past the ugly. It's one of the smaller mATX cases that even supports a large ATX PSU.
