Hello community,
I am currently thinking of building very small build, parts I got:
B760i + 13400 + RAM + SSD + gonna go with either 3050 LP or some ITX card depending on the case (cooler will also be picked depending on the case)

I need advice on the case and power supply used:
PSU - my idea is to use PICO PSU I found one member giving good review - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005377974011.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.179f38da4UbaKx&mp=1 600W one so that it will stay cool during usage with an internal Mean Well unit - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006602114185.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.179f38da4UbaKx&mp=1 400W should do the trick I believe.

Will these two go together fine ? or do you have any other recommendation in similar price point ?

Case discussion:
Wanna go as low as possible with volume with 120mm fan cooler (for the noise reasons), was thinking of LZmod A24 v5 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...6p1soLW6&utparam-url=scene:search|query_from:

Do you have any similar cases you could recommend me - wanna have some more options :)

Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I have a similar build with a MeanWell RPS-500 in case of future GPU upgrade, but a RPS-400 would have been good enough.
You can have a look at my LiGHTPC build log: https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/12v-lightpc-a-5l-gaming-htpc.17107/

On this comparison, the RPS-400-12 seems to be very similar to the EPP-400-12.
The former is also available with a casing for more security though.
If you want to check further, you can have a look at their reports on their respective pages on https://www.meanwell-web.com

From my experience, these pico PSU tends to heat up if there is no airflow on them.
A trick is to have an over sized CPU fan that overhangs above the pico, or a case fan in this area.

Thank you for response 🙂
I ended up getting Mean Well LOP-400-12:

I am just waiting for the case to arrive and also JST to finish power plug :)

small update, I ran the PSU through tester and voltages seem right, unfortunately PG value is 0 so I dont think it is wise to use it... can you recommend a good PICO PSU to pair with Mean Well LOP-400-12 ?

or do you think its safe to use it ?

Plan B would be getting HDplex - https://hdplex.com/hdplex-500w-hi-fi-dc-atx-power-supply-12v-48v-wide-range-voltage-input.html and turning mean-well into a brick :(

Okay so I am done now,
had to change for a different PICO PSU - ended up getting RGEEK 300W one from aliexpress, disassembled old Flex PSU and drilled a hole for 80mm fan from the front (cause of noise improvement) which I connected to mainboard since this way it won't keep spinning after I shut down PC what would happen if I used direct plugging to Mean Well unit. Gotten lucky and found AXP90x53 full copper for 17€ in auction so I used this one.
Stripped the extension cables from C14 plug and connected them directly to Mean Well unit.

Final build specs:
Intel core i5 13400F with Thermalright contact frame
Thermalright AXP90x53 FC
MSI B760I Gaming Edge
DDR4 Kingston Fury 32GB 3200MHz CL16
WD SN770 1TB
Gigabyte GTX 1650 4GB
Mean Well LOP-400-12 with RGEEK 300W 12V Pico PSU
LZmod a24 v5

Temps after 2h League of Legends run:
CPU max 65°C
MB max 57°C
GPU max 55°C hotspot 66°C

I might add 140mm fan in front of CPU fan or swap for 120mm CPU cooler fan to improve cooling of motherboard in future if necessary, atm I am happy with how it is, maybe gonna switch fan to Noctua A9x14mm for better acustics.

Below are some photos of the build.
