News [AT] Shuttle announces X1 prebuilts, VR-ready

The prices are on the order of $1500 to $1700 US. Appears they use Kaby Lake mobile i5 or i7 CPUs, 1060 3GB GPUs.

So probably MXM cards that drive these prices, considering the general size. I'm amazed Shuttle has made this, for a while they appeared to focusing on enterprise devices mainly.

The bottom looks more like it has a PCIe graphics cards underneath a small motherboard, though - I'm very curious as to the internal design.

Shuttle has historically had interesting motherboards.
