If all the manufacturers could agree on this as a standard, then it can be interesting.
All the mobo connectors are on the mobo bottom side.
But, you still need to connect PCIe power cables from the PSU to the mobo (instead of from the PSU to the GPU).
But, nonetheless, this can be interesting, especially regarding cable management.

If adaptors could be made for this connector then it'd be perfect, not having to leave room for power connectors on the top edge of the card allows taller cards to go right up against the panel. Could even integrate the power input into the PCIE riser like those made for mining to simplify cable management.
