I'm a bit shocked it's so popular. I played for a couple hours and I'm not feeling the hype. It's 14 minutes of scavenging gear, and about 60 seconds of actual combat, and that's assuming you don't die the instant your feet touch the ground because someone grabbed a gun before you could. Even "winning" didn't feel fun in the rounds that my squad survived because it was mostly due to us just avoiding combat and scavenging gear for the final encounter with the last squad.

All in all, the best thing I can possibly say about Apex Legends is that it brought attention and players back to Titanfall 2, a dramatically better game.
