As the title states, are there any alternatives for the Noctua L9a for AM4 motherboards that are the same or smaller height and perform similarly or better? I was looking at the Thermolab LP53, since I heard it cools better than the L9a when coupled with a Noctua NH-A9x14 fan, but it doesn't seem like it supports AM4. I am currently using the L9a on a mini itx build and it performs fine, but I'd like to lower my temps a bit without underclocking my CPU (its already undervolted a bit). CPU is a Ryzen 2600X.

Nope. At 38mm Noctua is the best you can get.

At generally any size Noctua is the best cooler. Minus the L9x65, as that is more of a compatibility cooler.
