Sadly not. Would a chromecast help test the monitor? A chromecast connects via USB and allows screen-casting from other devices. If not, I'll pick up a USB-C-DP adapter for my Surface Pro. I have tested a USB-USB cable and, while the monitor reacts, the 'no signal' error persists.
