A Element q or MI-600 (is that it?) <the clone> is good for a change, move the MB tray a little higher to fit a dual width GPU under it, make the ODD a slim one (the ones with a button though) & if you don't want a ODD, just put a rgb strip there, then just make it where any 3.5 i/o panel can go in the cutout...

I agree, no need to mod it because you can easily get a slim DVD adapter and use the rest of the 5.25 bay for something else, like a 3.5 hot swap.
No need for dual width GPU when you got the GTX 1070 Katana.

Cool, you can fit a slim ODD, and a 3.5 something in there (like a 3.5 i/o panel???

@Edward78 Please keep questions regarding this same case to this thread. We've merged numerous threads here over the past while, not to mention the countless over the past year or two.

Its not that hard at all but no one here is going to do it for you. If your so determined to see this idea to fruition then instead of thread spamming demanding other people do the work for free on your behalf then take the opportunity and time to learn the prerequisite skills needed to do it yourself, much the same way every other case bender, modder and vendor here has done. Its a well walked path and you will likely see much more support looking for help to further your skills and education to bring and idea to life than you will just asking the hive mind to do it for you.
