I was planning to buy the asus b550 itx board for the pcie 4.0 slot. However, now that you say this, it confirms that itll be a pain in the ass to fit the 3080 in there. The Mobo I have was the perfect one to fit the 3080 into the M1 without any issues.

Fits perfectly ... no mods necessary. Depends your Mobo it seems.

Interesting, I didn’t know this. At my old apartment I used to have my pc connected to a unit like that. Lol, as I mentioned before I never heard coil whine from my gpu before. Going to try the psu first. Then I’ll try other options but thank you for the heads up. I’ll add that as a possible option.

yea it’s my gpu... just never used to whine. Might be either the psu or the fact that I put the accelero on and took off all those stock plates and thermal pads and now everything is out in the open. But I did notice the whine is less when I reduce the FPS or power draw. I undervolted it last...

I think your right ... I think it is the gpu. I lowered the graphical settings in game and it stopped the buzzing. ? When I lower in game settings or put the resolution from 1440p to 1080p the buzzing stops. It’s just so weird, my card never used to buzz like that. I have been playing at 1440p...

that’s exactly what I did last night. Once I shut down the AIO pump and fans. I replicated the noise put my ear all around the case and sure enough it was heard coming from the Psu specifically. Everywhere else the noise was just not as intense.
