Log Ncase M1 and the EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3

I was planning to buy the asus b550 itx board for the pcie 4.0 slot. However, now that you say this, it confirms that itll be a pain in the ass to fit the 3080 in there. The Mobo I have was the perfect one to fit the 3080 into the M1 without any issues.

Just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to all the great guys working at sfflabs and everyone that’s apart of the M1 team like Necere, Dan and the rest! Thank you for helping me out on getting my front panel replaced. It arrived way earlier than expected and that made it the best part of all. Awesome...

Dang man, I guess I’m not the only one! The old cooler and heat sink was certainly holding it all down and dampening that coil whine. Now that it’s all out in the open you can hear it loud and clear. I tried swapping the psu yesterday and nothing. So I’m living with it for now, I under volted it...

Interesting, I didn’t know this. At my old apartment I used to have my pc connected to a unit like that. Lol, as I mentioned before I never heard coil whine from my gpu before. Going to try the psu first. Then I’ll try other options but thank you for the heads up. I’ll add that as a possible option.

Hey, 3700x, MSI b450i, 3600mhz 16gb crucial, GTX 1080ti, Corsair sf 600 gold. So my card never used to make any noise like that, however, I was using it with the stock cooler and an EVGA g3 750w. I recently put the accelero iii on it and changed the psu. The whine is very load with it at stock...

yea it’s my gpu... just never used to whine. Might be either the psu or the fact that I put the accelero on and took off all those stock plates and thermal pads and now everything is out in the open. But I did notice the whine is less when I reduce the FPS or power draw. I undervolted it last...

I think your right ... I think it is the gpu. I lowered the graphical settings in game and it stopped the buzzing. ? When I lower in game settings or put the resolution from 1440p to 1080p the buzzing stops. It’s just so weird, my card never used to buzz like that. I have been playing at 1440p...

that’s exactly what I did last night. Once I shut down the AIO pump and fans. I replicated the noise put my ear all around the case and sure enough it was heard coming from the Psu specifically. Everywhere else the noise was just not as intense.

I have the gold, I’ve been reading online and reddit has many people saying that it was their psu the 600w gold specifically. I’m pretty sure it’s the psu, the noise is coming directly from there. In the video I posted I even put the speaker directly to where the psu fan is and it’s extremely...

Hey guys, general question here. So I want to know if anyone else is experiencing a buzzing electrical noise “coil whine” with their Corsair sf 600? Like it’s not high pitched, it’s a buzzing noise only when I get into a game. Aside from that it’s silent out of gaming. During benchmarks, videos...

Sorry about that, yeah I sent it to you and to sff lab through their website support page. I attached the photos there as well. I had the reply on October 7 from Dan and sent the new photos as he asked for on October 8. Then on October 13 I sent another email out with even more photos.
