I would be interested in this. (Currently lucky enough to have the formD on my desk. The footprint is tiny but this would be ideal. The footprint would be literally tiny.
it would look super clean too.
I am using the x570i gigabyte board. Unfortunately the m.2/chipset heatsink and the IO shroud is problematic in either direction. Basically with my EK 90 degree fittings on the block, it either hits my rad/fan, io shroud, m.2/chipset heatsink or ram, regardless of which way I point it.
When I looked, and I will look again now as I am paranoid after reading your post, the right angle fittings that come with the LT240/120 are G1/4, however they are a right angle compression fitting, so cannot put a normal compression fitting on the alphacool 90 degree one.
For me, with the...
Yeah I tried that (also here in Australia and cannot get 8/11mm cooling hose. Homebrew yes but I haven't been game haha.
My old man is a mechanic and I have raided his shed. I can either get correct inside and outside diameter but the hose is very stiff and doesn't feel like it would end well...
Yeah it all seems like a pain to be restricted for choice.
Almost thinking about just getting a ek cpu block and a ddc pump and being done with it. Can only get the ek pump top version of the ddc over here so hoping it will fit. Will measure it up tomorrow morning. I reckon it’s gonna be tight.
Bit of an odd question, or a specific one I guess.
Has anyone had any luck mounting the LT240 cpu block on a Gigabyte x570i motherboard?
I have currently got ek fittings on my LT block and it will not mount due to the chipset/m.2 heatsink.
Trying to get some of the stock diameter tubing so I can...
