I like the idea of having two plates come with it. One plate that just has a spot for the power switch and another that has all the top IO. That way people who want a more minimalist look or just want more space (longer GPU perhaps?) could do so. Or perhaps if the power switch was moved...

Is it though? Or are you talking about version 4.1 😀. Though I do understand the disappointment, I am sure many of the changes needed for the next iteration are only discovered after these are in peoples hands. Dan has to do what is best for his business and to deliver the best product possible...

Ah apologies, 25-26° C at one point when I was gaming. Mainly due to having the office door shut because my wife isn't too keen on hearing Apex comms haha. Usual ambient is around 23-24° C.

Temps after a day of work and gaming, the 2TB is the one in the back slot, game currently still running.

Thats my build, I can get you more information Monday/Tuesday when I have a chance to game on it. I never had any issues with this in a sandwich layout case so here everything should be more than fine (not sandwiched between a gpu, has ventilation from the perforated side panels)

Finally got a chance to build, plenty of information throughout the album for anyone interested. Hope it helps with anyone's decisions or just helps with waiting on their case. Sliger SM550: "(Chuckles) I'm in danger." Moving to the Dan C4-SFX (~15L). The (~10L) SM550 was a fun case but parts...

Noticed it as well, he did the same thing for his review and he even explained moving the clips around so that he could place it this way so its definitely deliberate. Would love to know if there are any thermal differences between the two.

...Sadly I leave for a LAN soon so unless it shows up in the next hour or so I won't get to see or build it :(

Can't believe it but the delivery estimate was correct, my package teleported from the UK to the USA overnight and is out for delivery!

FYI I believe the Suprim fit because the shroud dips on the sides a bit so it doesn't make contact with whatever it would hit near the end. If the 7900XT you are looking at does something similar then it could fit as well.

That is weird...mine just said picked up with an estimated arrival date of June 1st which is a heavy doubt as its still in the UK and its Tuesday haha https://computerorbit.com/en-us/pages/dan-c4-sfx-pre-order-info

Would make sense, I guess what is confusing me most is that Optimum Tech's review video shows him placing it in with the large fin stack on the left but then the final product ends up having it on the right.

So I am noticing builds where the NH-D12L is oriented with the larger fin-stack on the left or the right. Is there a preferred orientation for this or what are the benefits of one way over the other?
