Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I won't be able to do what I panned with this case. The engine in my car just blew and I am now looking at getting a replacement car. At best what I will now be able to do with this case (if I get one at this point) is just keep what I can of what I have and transferring it over instead of...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

More choice for motherboards (x99) and it would allow me to put dual 240mm radiators with no clearance issues. Those are the main two reasons. Also I believe it was mentioned the hight increase would be 61mm correct? This would allow for mounting the resevoir/pump combo in the bottom of the...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Based of your responses being conjecture I decided to try to find information on whether or not it would be an issue. From what little I could find it doesn't look like I'll have any issues if I get good fittings. Also I think the comparison to the car is a bad example...

I still don't want the radiator there.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Quick question. I want to do hardline tubing but a thought popped into my head. I want this to be a portable system, would that kind of tubing be ok? I don't want to constantly worry about tubing possibly coming out of the fittings and spilling all over while transporting it. I don't think...

Should be more than enough tubing (and have quite a bit left over) If you go as thick as an ATX power supply they are 86mm thick. Take away 25mm for the fan and that gives you enough room for a 60mm thick rad (61mm would match the psu thickness)

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Part of the reason I'm not looking at this option is I want to try hardline tubing and I picture trying to do that on that side bracket would be massively difficult. Maybe it wouldn't be as dificult as I picture it. Also doing it the way I'm thinking I already have a ATX power supply and won't...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

The front shouldn't have any issue right, just anything I try to install in the bottom? There will defiantly be a 240 in the front for me and probably a 120 in the bottom At first I was going to try two 240s but I don't want to deal with the clearance issues I'll run into in the front bottom...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I probably don't have much more experience than you. I've just done a lot of research. Personally I'm going to go hardwarelabs (http://www.performance-pcs.com/black-ice-nemesis-240gts-ultra-stealth-u-flow-low-profile-radiator-black-carbon.html#Features) from what I've been able to find they...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I originally was looking at this rad as well based on its thin profile ( thinnest rad available I think) but based off the one objective, scientific review I could find I wouldn't use this rad. Granted in this review the guy is testing 360mm rads but I'm pretty sure his results can be directly...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Cool to find out about these other tiny cases. Those Jonsbo cases do look like they don't very good airflow at all. That case by boloisbolo on the other hand isn't too bad but looks like a pain in the butt to build in. Then again I'm not a terribly well experienced builder especially when it...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

For me the idea of a limited ATX support version of this case was intriguing, but for some reason it didn't occur to me that it would have to be increased in height. This actually would make this version of the case even more appealing to me because I want to put dual 240mm radiators in this...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I guess I should probably mention the pump/res combo I want to use huh. http://www.performance-pcs.com/ek-xres-100-revo-d5-pwm-incl-pump.html Maybe I don't need to use two of those mounts but I am paranoid and like to over engineer things to make sure I won't have issues. I want this to be a...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I pictured swapping the two side panels (one is solid right? And they are the same dimensions as each other right?) and drilling holes to match the pattern of the rest of the case but only in the top left of the panel (for the atx psu inlet) and using the rest of the panel as a reverse L shaped...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

They mentioned somewhere before that putting in the tool less pin setup mars the surface making it unsightly, the powder coating covers this up and looks nice. Anodizing would not hide any marks so if these marks were bad it would probably look just horrible.
