This looks amazing, especially with ITX mobos getting far too expensive in the current generation with MATX being half the price. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing what the final compatibility looks like.
Excited for the updates to come out! mATX is really starting to look like an ideal form factor for best of both worlds, and hopefully X670 boards don't disappoint like X570 boards did.
I love the form factor, I just can't say I am a fine of the design details on the case. Having a ~10L case with support for taller CPU coolers is great, but the vent design and front panel material make it look a bit dated to me. This case with the styling of the SV series would be an amazing...
So this is not going under the NCase brand then I guess due to Necere not being the main designer haha. I guess it is all under a SFFLAB brand with the different case types as revisions a la Silverstone.
Compared to the SM550 I'm interested to see how the L12S with fan, and 2 120mms on the...
I don't know if it's already been said, but I'd also love to see the Big Shuriken 3 in the cooler test at 69mm tall. It looks to be a bit worse than the L12S on bench, but you never know the variables.
Right now this case is really exciting, but to me for its air cooling capabilities despite the size instead of being able to be water cooled. Always love your work w360. Keep it up!
Sorry to double post here, but this board does look to have some competition here from Supermicro. https://www.supermicro.nl/products/motherboard/atom/A2SDi-H-TP4F.cfm

It looks like there are a few real options. The DS380 and the PC-Q26 which is pretty damn big. There's also the Will Jaya 8-Bay NAS which looks pretty similar to the U-NAS NSC-800.
We could "mod" the CaseLabs X2M with 2 CaseLabs HDD cages which does look very attractive. This would probably be...
4 full sized DIMMS is also nothing to ignore. If this thing stays cool and is energy efficient, I think it can be a really solid product being able to use 8 drives with a mini SAS to SATA converter.
I may be recalling incorrectly and have used bad wording, sorry. If I remember right, there were some compatibility issues with the Strix that aren't present on other Z270 issues due to the location of other modules on the board.
Will ASUS have weird mounting points for coolers though like it does with the Z270 Strix? I hope not. It's just weird how hard it seems for these companies to make a solid itx board.
I feel like we should wait to see how the mATX Z270 and AM4+ lineup looks, if any exist before choosing which way to go. We might get a great selection people want to go for, we might get nothing.
I'm glad this case is becoming a reality. I honestly think the main market for this niche case is obviously the enthusiast, and as such, I kind of wish there was more talk about water cooling support on the main post here, and even the main page.
While I personally am not in the market for...
