Just a heads up, I used the Quadro the same way but apparently Aquacomputer advices against this setup, the output drive of the Quadro doesn't like the startup peaks the DDC pumps pull (2A+) and can kill the Fan output. Still 3 left :p
following this thread, very interested in this product. Currently rocking the Aquanaut in my setup but was looking for something solid metal as a upgrade
I mounted the Aquanaut this weekend and did a pressure test using the Dr. Drop, there was a small leak at the inlet o-ring. The image shows the Aquanaut leak free but i'm concerned about the acrylic bowing.
The 2 acrylic parts aren't touching so that should be oke, i think a POM or extra...
It's easy, there are 4 holes in the DDC so i wired 4 LEDs in series with a current limiting resistor. Powered straight from the 12v, there is not much room inside the pump so RGB is going to be difficult.
Today was dry mounting and test day, got a new DDC (with pwm) my previous one is 14 years old ? so it was time for a upgrade. Installed some LEDs inside the DDC to light up the Aquanaut goodness!
Hi, just a headsup @Nouvolo today i received the Aquanaut (AM4) and i have the same problem as PKAWA, the bag containing the screw sas "platform: 20XX" so i think that's the problem. (the screws actually screw in fine on a 2011 mobo)
I will sort it out via email.
