Hello, I think we are about to release an EVGA variant. But we need some testing feedback to make sure it works for EVGA. Would you like to help?

    Stratos 3: ~3.5L PicoPSU Chassis

It would support 70mm cooler and hdplex. It would be much larger, at 4.5 or 5L. First production batch in Spring 2023.

    Stratos 3: ~3.5L PicoPSU Chassis

Aluminum version would be quite expensive, but i'm not counting that out. It would be around $160+ for aluminum. Final dimensions 216 x 216 x 73 (mm). LP Verison maybe.

    Selling Meanwell PSUs, G-Unique Unit

I don’t remember much. I think I unplugged the power from the wall, then tried to boot it a few times, then plugged it into the wall.

Power Supply A Guide to 12V PSU

EPP and RPS are the same as far as I can see. Just one more stringent for medical use I think. Efficiency is around gold rated. Meanwell is the ol’ reliable in terms of PSU for industrial application. Not the most power dense but reasonable price and good reliability. You will see them noted as...

Power Supply A Guide to 12V PSU

this is because those plug-in boards are generally low quality and may not meet their rated specs. The meanwell PSU has standby capability, and given a way to trigger it, means it is safer to supply power directly from the meanwell. If you don’t have a way to trigger the standby, you will have...

    Discussion Cooling concerns AM5?

65W is the power target for eco mode for 7600x. Synthetics/multi core should yield 20% improvements vs the i5, in eco mode. If you power tune it, may eek out a bit more for the same power. It probably will be $150-200 with new RAM and when the B series come out for the 7600x. For the low end...

Cooling New ID-Cooling IS-55 CPU Cooler Testing & Comparison to Thermalright AXP120-X67 & Noctua L12 GE Coolers

No point in 2 fans. These coolers aren’t big enough. should be around the same. The ID cooling will have more compatibility and a better mounting mechanism. The 92mm fan on bottom isn’t comparable since then they are no longer same height class. ID cooling is the OEM for black ridge i think.

    Discussion Cooling concerns AM5?

It would argue it is not equivalent, if multi core performance is anything to go by, even in ECO mode. The 7600x will demolish a 12400, anything otherwise is intellectual dishonesty. 13400 we have to wait to see. For probably 95% of users, I would agree a 5600X or intel 12400 is a good choice...

    Discussion Cooling concerns AM5?

we need to walk away from optimizing “temps.” The cpu doesn’t care if it is operating at 85 or 95 c. Worrying about temps is a holdover from the old days where the cpu will aggressively throttle when it reaches max temp. Nowadays the boost is very granular. Being concerned about temps is leaving...
