Power Supply Silverstonetek SX750 (SFX, 750W, Platinum, semi passive)

Awesome. Looking forward to online reviews comparing noise, cooling, efficiency, etc. between these 3. Grill design for most noise reduction may be a determining factor and/or whether a quieter Noctua fan can replace the stock fan. Also great, but it appears the Cooler Master SFX will only be...

Power Supply Silverstonetek SX750 (SFX, 750W, Platinum, semi passive)

My build is nearly assembled. I'm just waiting for the Nvidia RTX 3070 to become available (which will prove difficult to acquire probably over the next few months, if not the entire upcoming year) and waiting on my Corsair SF750 order, which now appears to be backordered till 12/16/20. I may...

Log SMALLEST ATX CASE : CERBERUS-X (Complete build log)

Right, I suppose one could alternatively use two 92mm fans on the side hinge (though such would be terrible for covering the NH-C14S) or two thin 92mm fans on the top mount (which may work alright, though additional brackets may be needed if not wide enough). The 40-60mm fan option 2 was...

Fyi, I have 3 main comments below: I didn't even know about Sterrox, so thanks for enlightening me. I now know why the NF-A12x25 (utilizing Sterrox) is a superior fan. I'm definitely interested in getting a 140mm Sterrox fan when it releases (the clear colored prototype looks pretty sweet too)...

Since you configured the NH-C14S push/pull fans as intake, have you tested these other fan configurations? (still intake, of course): 1. Top: NF-A14 (side bracket). Bottom: NF-A14. 2. Top: NF-A14 (side bracket). Bottom: NF-A12x25. 3. Top: NF-A12x25 (side bracket). Bottom: NF-A12x25. (One could...

I found them on Amazon with a simple search. Anyhow, this all begs the question: What is the most effective filter that catches fine dust yet also allows enough airflow? Some people use carbon cut-to-fit air conditioner filters. There are always a plethora of components and add-ons to test.

Unfortunately, the Ebay link is out of commission. What are the brand of these filters (which you claim are more rigid and perform better than the demcifilters)?

Log Cerberus X Build for Video/Animation, 184mm Rad for i9-10850K?

Thanks for your reply, MarcParis, as well as for sharing the various inspiring and tested configurations on your perpetual Cerberus X log. I have yet to go through every page in your thread to gain build and cooling ideas, but I plan to do so. This will actually be my first build ever, and I've...

Thanks for commenting, Arie. Your build looks solid. That's awesome that you have the Barrow combo unit installed on it. Sounds like thermals are favorable? Is the side hinge fan intake or exhaust? I may mount a rear-plate SFX PSU + single (front) or dual (front and bottom) 240mm radiator(s) as...

I also meant to add for clarification: *Furthermore, if I alternatively had the radiator exhaust (still above the GPU), then the radiator fans would intake the GPU warmed air from below and add even more heat to the radiator loop (which would also be bad, yes?). Thus, intake water cooler fans...

Hmm, maybe this is a better link for my schematic configurations:

Greetings. I'm so grateful for this dedicated and helpful community. I have spent a considerable amount of time studying videos and forums (for ideal airflow, temps, configurations, components, etc.) and tediously designing and measuring a potential build for rotoscope animation + video editing...

Completed SFFtime presents: P-ATX v2 - 10 L case with improved ATX, AIO and 3-slot support!

Oh, I see that your website states "SFX/SFX-L power supply up to 130mm", so that answers that particular question.

Completed SFFtime presents: P-ATX v2 - 10 L case with improved ATX, AIO and 3-slot support!

Your reply is truly helpful, and I'll look into 92mm AIOs. So, if you attest that SFX-L PSUs can fit in the P-ATX, is that the general PSU size limit? More broadly, what is the maximum amount of space available for a PSU in the P-ATX? With my chosen components, could one fit a (my ideal) Be...

Hi there. What a great community

Hi there. What a great community. I'm new to SFF builds in general, but I am huge proponent of efficiency, economy of space, innovative products, and feng shui. Looking forward to explore and share SFF products, ideas, and info with you all.
