I run a Skyreach 4 itx build which has always used a power brick. I just received my HDPLEX 400W AC-DC power supply and was super excited to finally retire the power brick! Much to my dismay, it doesn't fit in the case with my Zotac 1080 mini.

As you suggested, I tried shorting the front-panel power pin, tried a new PSU, tested the voltages on both the new and the old PST, reseated the memory, GPU, and CPU. The machine is totally dust free. Still no luck.

Built a clean little Skyreach 4 mini build back in January. It's been working like a charm since then.
Packed it up to take into the office today (wanted to show it off to some co-workers), but when I set it all up in the office...
Well... the old pull the whole thing apart and put it back together trick worked a treat.
Turns out I had the wrong 8-pin cable plugged into the graphics card.
