Has anyone tried to fit the Noctua A12x25 on there? I saw some reports the clips don't work for anything other than the stock fan.

You could rotate the design for the MB are video card are vertical rather than horizontal. You'd need some space for airflow inflow/outflow beneath the case then though. The heatpipes would be parallel to the base then, so no need to worry about the vapor return.

I have the ED500 -- it works great for dust (you just have to keep fans from rotating since it can ruin the bearings). If the OPs dust is getting caked, it makes me wonder about their humidity levels. It does have nozzles for directing the flow. Oddly, the super tiny one doesn't get all that...

Hm...interesting. The seasonic is quieter that the SF600 Plat at 300W but a lot more noise at 500W. It's a similar decibel level delta, but remember it's a logarithmic scale.

Thermalright is Taiwanese. They definitely have the chops -- when they released the Ultra Extreme 120 in 2007 it absolutely destroyed every other air cooler in performance (it's on my outgoing rig). I'm not sure how there current offering stack up, since you rarely hear about them anymore. And...
