Did they charge you full price for the messed up ones? If you could assemble a full unit, just with some scratches, I'd be down to purchase a damaged case. I want one for travel, and while I would prefer a pristine one, I wouldnt mind a scuffed up one for a discount.

How do the top fans attach to the frame/case? is it just the outer 2 screws that are screwed in?

Yeah, thats were I was headed with this. The older I get the more I find if I spend a little extra on a task now, it usually ends up a much better deal in the long run. Yeah a different case and HDPLEX (as an example) may cost you more now, but you can always use the HDPLEX later down the road...

A few more questions about this case. Obviously you have a 4060 low profile; how loud is that card? (I'm trying to make a semi quite 1080p build). How sturdy is this case? I plan to be moving it likely once a week
