That is absolutely amazing. Should room to mount a third fan too depending on the rest of the build. That is alot of cooling considering the TX240 is a top performer. Dare I say this could potentially be the optimal single 240mm setup even before adding a third fan? thats before we consider its...

Biggest problem with the SF750 pcie cables is that they are 8 to dual 6+2 connections. So you have all this extra bulk you dont want. Navic is exactly right. Custom cables will solve all of your problems. And shaving a couple mm's from the molex connector will help considerably. That is what I...

Yep a couple people have for the ftw3. This is the one that topped my google search. Ek aio is well documented. Heaps of builds with them. I built one for my brother last weekend.

Thanks mate. I've been posting here for a long time now. I think since the first Optimum Tech video of the prototype. So not the beginning but a fair while. Basically any discussion/speculation of parts fitting outside of spec would be shot down and posters would be attacked for bringing up the...

Meh. They are just stickers and pretty low down on the list of what I would call a modification. Certainly far less risky and intrusive than deshrouding or even putting a water block on on a card. I just gamed on the system with the side panel off for a hour or so to get the gpu heat up. Then...

Probably referring to me. I managed to fit the XC3 ultra in my case in 2 slot mode. The issue is that the fans are the highest point on the shroud. So deshrouding doesnt work and the fans will foul the side panel. HOWEVER. The foil "E" stickers on the fans are actually 1mm thick because the e...

Hey mate did you see a big jump in performance after lapping the cold plate? My cold plate is absolutely terrible. Full of grooves and isnt flat lol. Thinking of doing this myself.

I did a build stream last night and attempted succefully I might add to install the 3080 XC3 Ultra into 2 slot mode. Below is a clip from the stream. This shows worst case scenario of no custom cables and the XC3 being pushed into the side panel. The fans spin fine without touching the side...

I think its going to fit. You will probably have to build around it like you have to for the 3090 FE but it'll get in there! We are still waiting on someone to try and fit the XC3 in 2 slot mode too.

Been thinking the exact same thing. All you need todo is remove the dividing block between the spines two and three slot modes and drill/tap a hole right? Sure you wont be able to have the backets at the back. But that can come later.

A pleasant side effect of such thin and low fpi is increased air flow. Should assist with VRM and m.2 temps. Looking forward to seeing the final build.

The EK 240mm aio will fit with slim fans.

Was wondering the same thing. A few cards with big * next to them fitting. ie. Evga XC3 in 2 slot mode as its 40.9mm thick from the PCB when T1 says max thickness is 39.2mm. And the EVGA FTW3. It's 136mm tall which is within the 140mm T1 spec. But will we be able to get the power cables into the...
