I did a bad thing. I’ve built a not small pc. But, I did try to stuff something into the open space. Managed to just squeeze an alphacool 1260 into what used to be the front of an inwin d frame. Lobo is still front and center, cooling a 13900k, and working just as well as it did day one! I have...

Sent you an email with a few questions on the direct die!

    Cerberus V2

What he said! I was watching the Sliger site waiting since July last year! As far as things I’d like to see, Handle on top without effecting my ability to use 2 fans, or a radiator. Swappable rear on the case, something similar to the 011 mini. As much as I dislike the “mini” I do like the...

I recently switched from a mcp35x to a ek ddc 4.2. They function and sound basically the same. For what’s it’s worth, with the lobo, flow is so high on my system, I don’t need to run pump anywhere near full speed. ~1600rpm at idle ramping up to around 2500rpm under load, temps did not improve...

The fit and finish of my beta block is fantastic. It’s better then anything ekwb I’ve had in my hands, and easily on par with the last aquacomputer gpu block I had on a 2080ti. A block which, I order in copper, without nickel plating. If your chasing that last couple of degrees, a direct to die...

I might be a minority, but I like the raw copper. It won’t flake, I can refinish it easily myself, and it saves cost.

I’ve been running off of a motherboard header for awhile now, no issues. 3 different models of motherboards along the way. They all had a high amperage pump header on them though. I wouldn’t recommend trying it on a standard header by any means. For the quadro users, do you have start boost on...

I run my mcp35x at 18% pwm at idle and only ramp up to around 30% under load. It’s set to run max if I ever get to 80c, but the t30’s will be making way more noise by then. At idle I can’t hear anything from my Pc. Pump rpm is around 1600-1800. Under load is around 2800-3000rpm. Anything above...

Mcp35x works fine. Mine was rewired to just a pwm plug, as my mobo has a 2a header for a pump. If you want a sata plug, grab the ek ddc 4.2. As far as performance goes, you shouldn’t see much difference between those two pumps.

GucksTV is correct, They are Monsoon free center compression fittings. Angled fittings are all Ek classics. The gpu is a founders 3080ti with an Ekwb special edition block.

The cold plate in the apogee drive II is a cross hatched pattern of pins, the pump inlet has an o-ring that sets against the pins in the center of the block, the rest is all open, no jet plate or the like. Reminds me of some old school cpu blocks I’ve seen from years ago. On the other hand, if...

I agree. I didn’t expect it given the internal design. But it’s does pull flow from the very center of the block, which lines up nicely with an intel die under the ihs. That’s about the only theory I have.
