Fair enough, looking back I can see that it'd probably take some doing to get the IO bracket back on there, didn't realize it mounted onto the outer shroud there. I guess you could trim the outer shroud off at the end opposite the IO bracket without compromising anything, or am I overlooking...

You could be right about that, but the fan has a ring around the blades there, depending on how close it ends up being to the side mesh, you could get a pretty good seal in theory. In his airflow section, it looks like a bit of that is happening already with the shroud on. He talks about the...

After watching Gamers Nexus teardown of the 3080FE, I'm thinking that removing the silver outer shroud on the 3090FE might give us the clearance we need to squeeze it in the T1 if it won't fit natively. A side effect being it looks pretty sweet, at least in my opinion for a black T1! Still...

So with how short the 3090 PCB looks to be, are the EKWB FLT reservoir/pump combos in the conversation for the T1? Or even a standard DDC with a small res on top?

My tentative plan was an undervolt and an aggressive fan curve for the coolant temperature. Probably wouldn't do much, if anything, but I've considered getting some heat-reflective tape for the back of the pump.

I agree, there won't be enough room. My concern when looking at how tight the space is, are the pump temps; Alphacool rates the DDC310 up to 60° C, is it manageable to keep it under that in such a tight space and without much liquid in the loop? This'll be my first SFF build and first custom...
