Could we get some kind of preview of the APU case in order to decide between this or the vk-3 before ordering opens ?? Past experience says there wont be much time (if any) at ordering time

Oh ok - I can wait I suppose - are we targetting an internal volume similar to vk-3 ?? Also, can the May batch v1.2 be purchased without the riser ??

This is my usecase as well 2-4x SSD + 1x 3.5 HDD. The 1.2 revision has enough space if the rear PCI slots were closed and mounting points added on the back plate to secure the larger HDD from 2 sides Hoping the APU case supports this functionality. There are plenty of 3-4x 2.5 HDD only case choices

I have slot covers I can use, am I correct in assuming the case cover provides the clamping force to the PCI brackets on the GPU ?? Also, what is the width of the GPU chamber from the outer edge to the m/b edge

Look forward to it. Hoping for a VK-3 like size/form factor with the GPU chamber streamlined/repurposed for drive support Will the VK-3 rev2 still have the mounting points/slots found in rev1.2 - or are wholescale changes to be expected ??

Will I get a notification about this if I signed up on the website for vk-3 ones ?? Please do keep this compatibility if possible. The USP of the vk-3 case is that it supports multiple build types We have the larger variants for dedicated GFX builds

How does keeping the old case around affect this ?? - there was talk of a new APU only case and this speeds up that process. Aren't we already getting a new design with the above in the next revision ??

As long as there is support for a bunch of drives, that also goes away for APU cases - its one of the USP for the 3 model. I'm hoping @VELKASE Michael changes his mind at least for pre-orders where you can predict upfront ?

Sucks not to have an APU only option for Velka 3 ? - surely you can spare a few units for this option ? (in fact 1 is enough?)

I recall you posting ideas here for feedback/discussion. Its your prerogative to not do so anymore, but IMO it was a good thing
