Ive ordered one and mine doesnt perform better than a Noctua l9i. I dont see a defect on the base plate though. Is mine also defective or is this normal?

These are stock cables. The only custom cable is my sata power to the front ssd.

Idk where you live but overclocker.co.uk has the 545lc also but cheaper and it comes with a retention kit, a 92mm fan (Its 25mm thick though) and thermal grizzly kryonaut. You need to get screw yourself though.

You need 6-32 screws (psu screws) or else you will strip the threads. I think 6-32x5/8(15,9mm long) or 6-32x3/4(19,1mm long) screws should do the trick. Threads apply for both sides, so using the drivebracket screws is a bad idea.
