Sounds to me like you are shorting out the mobo somehow. As this post has been a while, did you fix it and what was the problem?

I wonder if you can do a vertical gpu mount and a AIO horizontal on the bottom ... And then I think that don't really want to invest more money in this and that's that.

I fished mine out of the closet (had it on pause for few months) and sympathize with the hating part. Something always doesn't work well. Did you switch cases in the end? PS: I'm selling mine (Europe local), searching for something to host the massive 1080ti FTW3 and the stupid heat monster...

If you put low power components, CPU, GPU and leave the brackets free of fans, cooling, etcetera, there will be plenty of space to shove all the drives you like. Using the PSU bracket you can attack 3 HDD or 5 SDD, that leaves the side and bottom brackets. Leaving the GPU out should open up...

It's a risky business for such a costly case, mate. By specification, my FTW3 should have fitted fine, but it was almost a no go. Looking at images online, my guess will be again a no, but it is just that. Only a guess. I'll check the vertical clearance that the card has downwards, but note...

No, the frame of the case will obstruct the excess verticle size even if you decide to remove the dust filters and their acrylic brackets. Most likely won't be able to insert it in the PCE slot for a few millimeters

Aren't you the one to get the easy way out... But not soo fast. There are a few other options to try: Change the cooler Try to improve airflow over the mobo heatsinks Change the Case Change the CPU :)

I've gotta say, definitely like the looks of this case, and the two bottom fans will sure help with the 80+ degrees GPU. I'm not sure how the air will flow in it though. And looking from the back bottom and top it feels unfinished, massive gaps on the gpu slots, massive top and bottom grates...

Slimmer than the Noctua, but kinda the same performance. It would help if the mobo has some compatibility issues with the U9S. On another topic I'm unhappy to report that i've started to give up on the DA2 and looking up other case options that can house the FTW3 with better cooling performance.

There are a number of threads, pretty much everywhere, referring to faulty or failing 2080tis. I don't know what NVIDIA did but this 2000 generation is not only a complete ripoff but also of a pretty shady quality. I think I'll stick to 1080Ti for the foreseeable future, currently searching for...
