It's an ASRock B450 ITX board, I don't think there should be any clearance issues on the board - it's just my ram @ 44mm that's the issue. I'll carry on tinkering, it's part of the fun :)

Only a 3600, temps were great out of the case. I did have to remount the cooler a few times when fitting into the case, so I might try and remount/repaste to make sure it's right. Also ordered a thermalright axp90 from China, so will see what that's like when it eventually arrives :p

Do you think the IS60 will tolerate larger ram (45mm)? Now I've got the Asetek mounted in the SM560 which arrived today, the radiator fan I think is struggling to push enough air through - temperatures about about 10°C above open air temps - fortunately GPU temps are about the same though :)

If this is any help to you, this is what my Asrock software rates the rpm/fan% at:

News Asetek 645LT for the SFF community!

I got mine from OcUK and had no issues getting stock. I'm getting on ok with mine, I find the pump speed at 100% too much for me - is there a lower value where the pump is not happy? I can set it as low as "2400rpm" (i.e. 1200rpm actual?) but is that too low for the pump to cope with, or is it...

My ASRock board is actually working ok controlling the pump (there's a WC Pump/DC mode for the fan headers). The lowest I've seen it go is about 2500rpm - but tend to have it about 3600 most of the time using custom curve.

Well the asetek has just turned up, so I'll find out later how loud/tolerable it is :)

SM560 - has about 55-60mm clearance and I'm not comfortable any of the options will be good enough (for me). I've ordered the 645LT, so I'll see how I go...

What coolers are you looking at? Black ridge?

R5 3600, haven't decided if I'll overclock it yet I'll see how it goes.

Thanks - unfortunately I don't think my Asrock board will allow DC adjustment of the pump (I was a little forced to go for the Asrock as it was the only one with Optical out). I'm thinking 9v might be sufficient on the pump as I sit about 2/3 meters away - so I might get away with it. I do have...

Good looking build, my SM560 should be coming soon from Density. (How long did yours take?) I was thinking of the 645LT, I am concerned about noise though - I'm not sure if the fan speed from an air cooler would be more bearable than the pump speed of the Asetek at idle.

News Asetek 645LT for the SFF community!

The case I'm using has a limited height for a CPU cooler, and I want it as quiet as possible. The 645LT has more cooling capacity, so should be able to cool it more -meaning I can have the fans spinning lower. But, I'm curious how noisey it is when it's just ticking over. I know I can get an air...

Hi, this seems like the best place to ask this. What fan speeds would typically be needed at idle? i.e. would 600rpm or less be ok for a r5 3600 at idle/web browsing? Also, how does the pump noise compare to a D5 pump at similar rpm?
