Hey have the same problem as you do. I removed the heatsink but left the default thermal pad in there, as part of it still touches the mobo tray. I used some thermal tape on the other end which doesn't touch the tray.

Has anyone here built a velka 3 with the Asus x570 itx? If so, what did you do with the motherboard backplate? It interferes with the motherboard tray..you can also see this in the video Linus' made.
Those of you in Europe who have ordered, does your tracking link show updates within Europe as well? Mine departed the US 10 days ago and I've had no updates ever since.

What CPU do you plan on using? I hope I'm not being too optimistic trying to cool a 3700X with a L9a and an undervolt.

I'm curious too. The adata one seems to be the most popular but no one has been able to get tight timings on it. Also the aliexpress link says you may get VLP or just normal RAM, it's up to chance..makes more sense to buy it using Superbuy then.
Sorry your wording is a little confusing. The PSU at full load sounds like your cpu cooler at full load? Or the PSU at idle sounds like your CPU cooler on full load? ?
Any results from your testing? I noticed the modular version you bought only has 1 PCIE 6+2 connector, whereas the stock non-modular one has 2*PCIE 6+2?
