Today I want to share a rather niche and fairly ridiculous DIY mini PC build. The purpose of this design is to push the volume of a SFF PC with a discrete GPU below 1 liter, and to keep pushing it even further. Can you imagine that it is close to the size of a smartphone?
The main character...
In the new BIOS of the DeskMini X600, the "Performance Mode" option has been removed, resulting in extremely low power limits. This issue can be resolved by disabling Prochot VRM Throttling and Peak Current Control under Advanced \ AMD Overclocking \ Manual CPU Overclocking. However, please note...
The RTX 50 series requires a PCIe 5.0 riser connected to the front-facing M.2_1 slot. Both the 5060 and 5070 are compatible. PCIe 4.0 riser connected to M2_2 slot causing screen flash black.

3.3V is provided by the M.2 slot on the motherboard and directly connected by the riser cable. Riser only requires an external 12V connection, connect it to the PSU.
Stack solder a 100K resistor on top of the existing component at the indicated position to reduce the under-voltage threshold, making it compatible with a voltage range of 12-19V.
No need to remove the component.
This will lower the fan power supply to 11V, slightly reducing the fan speed at...
