The cables aren’t great. I mentioned that when I reviewed it a few years ago. I picked it for the price for power but if Corsair is an option in that price bracket, I would pick it as well.

SG05 was my first ITX build. It started as a Sandy Bridge Celeron and then to an Ivy Bridge 3550. It actually still is that setup because I use it as a retro XP machine.

I just went through that with the Raw S1. Good lord it's a pain in the ass to find quality right angle adapters. Soft extensions work better, provided they are also right angle. Also, it's funny you mention the kalax because I have a SG05 in a kalax right next to me.

Thank you! I have noticed that SFF cubes have become fewer and farther between. There was the Lazer3D LZX-8 is still around and available. That's a nice one. Silverstone has several cube and shoebox style cases. The nouvolo Borg is also a pretty nice cube design, and currently on sale...

All right...I put my design for a Steam Machine out there. Let's see what everyone else thinks would make a good unit. Post your specs and thoughts below!

$1,500 would be an incredibly hard sell since you can get a PS5 PRO and a micro-PC with a 780M graphics for the same money.

The amount of scams using gift cards is nothing short of insane. By me, scammers will claim they are from the power company, and if you don’t get them some insane amount of gift cards, will shut off your power. The scammers prey on the elderly and untrained.

I’d argue that the T-series pretty much practically died out with the introduction of Alder Lake. I can’t say I’m a fan of Intel’s constant chipset changes. That said, personally I’ve had a lot more AM4 board failures than Intel. With the size of these sockets, we might start to see a return...
