So a follow-up to this. I let the stress test run 12 hours and then used a thermal temp gun on it at the end of the test. I had the brick on the floor just like most people would. The top of the brick was 68C, the bottom of the brick was 73C. Holding it didn't feel any hotter than the normal...

Works really well. Of course usually it will be under 400 watts since its rare both CPU and GPU will peg to max for long periods in games.
