That would be nice to know. There's a guy on youtube with a 5700g and an A300 and X300, but he didn't test the CPU with those motherboards. Try asking:
I had to give up on the X300 BIOS. I'm back to A300 3.70, due to video playback issues.
In windows task manager, Performance tab, select "Video codec 0" on the dropdown of one of the graphs and you will see 100% utilization of the codec when a youtube video freezes. According to a report on...
I have a sound mixer which has USB, so i use that.
Regarding your reboots, you can try lowering the memory speed and see if that fixes it. I had some reboots after trying to increase memory speed, so, that may help.
I've been using X300 bios 1.60 on A300 for a while and have no reboots.
I still have USB glitches (audio drops from USB sound card) :(
Which CPU are you using?
You have to do some work yourself. Read the posts on the forum, search, google.

I was able to flash A300 3.70 while using X300 1.58 by loading an UEFI shell in BIOS and using afuefix64 A3MSTX_3.70 /P /B /N /K /L /X and answering "E". It flashes the whole bios.
Only issue is you can't flash a bios backup, but you can do that later with flashrom.
I noticed that in the X300 1.58 BIOS there are at least 2 modules that don't exist on the older bioses, but this may be due to the new agesa version:
FlashSmiDxe
FlashSmiSmm
Also, you can still write to the flash inside the BIOS in an EFI shell, but i can't get AfuEfix64 to write a good BIOS...
Just a bit more info:
I tried pulling PIN 3 of the flash chip W25Q128 to ground, as suggested below, but no luck:
https://github.com/pcengines/apu2-documentation/blob/master/docs/research/apu_bios_write_protect.md...
You can try loading UEFI defaults and save, then go back to the previous processor and try to flash again with flashrom.
Maybe flashrom doesn't work with 2400G.
EDIT: Nevermind. I just tried it on my 3400G and it also doesn't work 😢
It seems like either AMD AGESA or the ASRock BIOS is disabling...
So, i bricked my A300 again using afuwin, but found a way to flash any bios.
Do this at your own risk.
EDIT: WARNING!!! You will not be able to flash any other BIOS after this, unless you have a flash programmer!
