Discussion Is 360 AIO really a good fit for SFFs?

I use a 280mm AIO in a A4-H20 approx 15 liter or so case, true SFF size. It has almost the exact same size surface area as a 360mm and with two 140mm fans which more more air at lower speeds than 120mm fans so quieter.

    CPU 22-24" 1440P Monitor recommendations?

I did search but not finding what I am looking into. I need a desktop monitor that is not portable, nice to have height and tilt built in, not required but OK with fast refresh rate. My main use is an architect program that does display OK on the 24" 1080P BENQ "CAD" monitor I bought at first...

Final update and many thanks for all the support here:) This is far more computer than I needed but it was fun to build, tweak, tune, etc and since I do not game it is very quite sitting on my desk though when I finish the remodel in this part of the full time RV it will be on the floor under...

CPU Amazing difference in CPU temps from choice of browser

I have used Firefox for many years now then started using duckduckgo for a search engine and on my new system I am using just duckduckgo for browswer and search and it works great. Highly recommend going either way and also using something like mailfence or protonmail. Idle temps never run...

Not SFF, audio amps in SFF cases idea.

Behringer NX1000D, simple, effective, cheap for sub amp, stereo as well and plenty of power but the next model up, the NX3000D, is $10 more on sale and quite a bit more power, same size, DSP for tuning, etc....on both. $279-289, not worth it to DIY and easy fit behind one side of my desk. I...

Not SFF, audio amps in SFF cases idea.

I looked into that as well but decided to stick with my WIIM Pro Plus streamer, later will get the Ultra to replace it, and the Topping V70 Velvet DAC I have. Both superb gear for very good prices. Thanks, Rick

Not SFF, audio amps in SFF cases idea.

Case: pretty cheap compared to buying amplifier casings and there are great ones in good sizes to pick from. Fans: IF needed, very good fans available that blow a lot of air even on lower speeds, very low cost as only need one or two per case and I have some or my buddy does I can use. Fan...

CPU 120mm fan grills, looking for quality, great flow, decent price?

I just found some I missed when searching earlier, not to bad looking, might tweak them a bit though. Sent message asking for a deal on one 280 and two 240mm units. 280mm honeycomb grill

CPU 120mm fan grills, looking for quality, great flow, decent price?

Love my H4 H20 280mm AIO build except when I put the panels on, noise increases dramatically and air flow decreases due to resistance. Considering cutting out sections where fans are located, blocking off sections without since incoming air will all be filtered but doing so is not easy to...

Minor mod update: Swapped out 1TB 980 Pro for a 2TB 990 Pro I picked up for just $75 cash, no tax.... Going to sell the 1TB 980 Pro and 1TB 870 Evo and get one more 2TB 990 Pro for my backup drive. I spend most of my time on our all out RV remodel, just finished installing soapstone hearth for...

Made some changes, 4070 was more GPU than I needed, my 3060 TI SE was not the right fit for the build, traded the 4070 for a 2.5 slot triple fan Gigabyte Elite and cash, working great! Swapped PS fan for an 80mm black Noctua, removed grill and cut out PS mount for much better air flow. This...

I am running my 3060 Ti FE at the moment and it works just as well as the 4070 for what I use the system for. I wish if fit in my build as I would keep it. I was about to buy a 3060 Ti 3 fan card as soon as I find one I like the price of and it can fit properly. I was going to get one but found...

Thanks:) I am looking for a non FE version of the 3060 Ti if I can find one cheap enough, I will install mine just to test it in this case but not really the right card design for the build. I am good on fans, two 120's for the GPU, two 140's for the AIO, Noctua in the PS with the grill and...

Off on other projects lately like repairing the Fiesta ST, taking a break from it though nearly done and from computers, working on the RV remodel. Washing machine broke, again, parts hard to get, used only now, $255 for a used control board....time to move on. Researched a great deal and...
