SFF case with a 5.25 bay or 8x2.5 bays?

I'm wanting to build a little server with a mini-itx mobo, but I want to have 8x 2.5" SATA drives. I would like to find an SFF case that has an external 5.25 bay so that I can put one of these in to hold the drives. But I would also settle for an SFF case that can hold 8 2.5" drives internally...

CPU AM4 physical socket specification/dimensions & keep out?

I am building in the Dan A4 with an AM4 mobo/cpu but I want to use the CoolTek LP53, which only has mounts for intel sockets. I am looking for the AM4 physical specification so I can use it to fabricate some AM4 mounts for the LP53. I haven't had any luck finding the spec. Does anyone know how I...

Jig for bending NH-L12S to fit Ghost S1

Maybe there is a better air cooling solution for the Ghost S1 that I have not found yet? I'd like to be able to run a Ryzen 2700X at full tilt without too much noise.

Jig for bending NH-L12S to fit Ghost S1

The NH-L12S is a mere 4mm too tall to fit in the Ghost S1: https://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail/nh-l12s It is 70mm tall, but the case only allows for up to 66mm. Here is what the RAM clearance looks like: Looks like if you used RAM without head spreaders there would be ~2mm...

    DAN C4-SFX - old

The best selling itx case on newegg is the Fractal Design Node 202. It does not support 3 slot cards. It supports 2.5 slot cards only if you use 15mm fans. In fact, none of the top 10 best selling itx cases on newegg support 3 slot GPUs. So the people that are arguing that you need to support...

    DAN C4-SFX - old

If you don't care about the extra liter, just go up 1.6L more and get the M1... Originally the C4-SFX was billed as an A4 that supports water cooled CPUs, since the biggest drawback of the A4 was that you were really CPU limited because of the cooling options. The C4 could remedy that issue...

Motherboard SFF Threadripper motherboard petition thread

The board has to have an ethernet controller, might as well be a 10GbE, I'm guessing they don't really take up more space than the 1GbE controllers. And the M.2 slots wouldn't take up any front side board space. They are basically just traces straight from the CPU into the little M.2 connector...

Motherboard SFF Threadripper motherboard petition thread

If someone builds a ITX threadripper mobo it should have dual 10GbE and 8x M.2 x4 slots on the back as an attempt to use up some of those 64 pcie lanes. I guess they could use up the rest of the lanes with thunderbolt 3 ports on the IO panel.

    DAN C4-SFX - old

There are so many good 2 slot GPU's available. If you want to overclock the shit out of your GPU, don't build SFF. The flex design is a big downgrade all because < 20% of "SFF" builders want to run a monstrosity of a GPU. The original design was awesome.
