Will the V2 have an angled front panel option? I much prefer the classic angled front panel to the rounded one. Also, this is just my opinion, but I think having the Type-A ports on one side and the Type-C ports on the other side would look better for the front I/O, the current arrangement...

Ok fair enough. It doesn't have to be closed, it can be vented with giant holes (like in the sandwich kit) that won't make a difference for airflow but will look better. I get that it can help with C14S compatibility in some cases. I think at minimum the power extension connector should be...

Production FormD T1 Classic (READ FIRST POST)

In a quest to find an M1 replacement, I researched the FormD's reference kit. And um... well there appears to be a huge gaping hole in the back of the case that's there by design, and as a result the power cord extension is exposed. There is a file you can download to 3D print your own back...

Thanks. I still don't like the angle of the feet. It's hard to explain, it's like... emasculating in a way. Something about it is unattractive to me. I think straight would look better, just my opinion. So does the case support right-side-up orientation? If so, it would make a nice replacement...

A few questions about this new version: Will there be an option for right-side-up orientation with a more normal top panel? This edge-to-edge big hole design is good for cooling 400W GPUs, but aesthetically it looks bad imo, and lets you easily see everything inside the case, which in the...

Does the case still offer right-side-up orientation? I searched but couldn't find a recent answer, it seems all recent images are with the upside down orientation. And the feet I'm not a fan of, I think having just two bars, completely right-angled at either end looks better. Why have feet all...

    Prototype Introducing the Chimera CX2

Wouldn't it be better to have the I/O at the bottom like with the M1? I feel like 90% of people will put this on their desk. Would be much better to have your headphone cable come out the bottom.

Ohh I see, the vent is meant as PSU intake, that didn't occur to me. I thought it was for exhaust. Okay, but with this set PSU orientation, if someone was to flip the case then that large face intake would be completely blocked. Otherwise, you'd at least get some intake. I guess you don't think...

    Prototype Introducing the Chimera CX2

It's kind of amazing that this case has the same volume as the Cerberus X while being 20mm wider. I'm guessing that's because of the direct intake front panel. If it was as wide as the M1 it would be only 19L. :o

I see, so with the adapter you would lose 2.5" drive support. This is why I think just a back plate would be better honestly, HDPlex is so easy to mount with double sided tape or velcro, it's really no use bothering with an adapter. But the beauty of 3D printing is that you're not restricted to...

You could also include 2.5" drive mounting points, I think with an HDPlex you could mount 2 drives on the GPU side. I could be wrong though. For the fan, you could do a grill or vent so the fan becomes optional. I'm not sure how well that would work with 3D printing though.

This is very cool, but does it need a fan? Isn't part of the appeal of the HDPlex that it's passively cooled? I'd just make the back solid and put the power connector where the fan is. Honestly, all you really need is the back plate, would make 3D printing much easier.

Okay, thank you very much for clearing all of that up. Those were just my first impressions, maybe the new design will grow on me, especially in light of the explanation you've given. I didn't realize the case would cost the same when bundled with the PSU, I thought the new price was much higher...

I just read about the new V3 v2.0 on the website and I have to say I'm disappointed. The only changes I like are the discreet screws and that assembly/access is easier. But otherwise, there was a lot to dislike: 1) 5mm front panel. Why? It just adds volume, weight and cost. There was no issue...

Raijintek Thetis: Another small ATX case

Is the default config with this case top intake rear exhaust or rear intake, top exhaust? Seems like top exhaust might conflict with the GPU fans? And I'm slightly concerned about intaking from the top, seems like you'll get even more dust than usual because of gravity. Are the included top...
