And it would allow the cables to reach. But it would prevent a 280mm AIO to be installed in the front, so don't know if it's worth it. At that point you may as well install it in the top front like Cerberus.

    Prototyping Introducing the Chimera CX2

I just watched OT's video. I love that the top is not vented, I've been looking for a case with truly streamlined front to back airflow where I don't have to worry about dust settling in through the top. But speaking of streamlined airflow, why is the bottom vented? Those bottom vents are...

If someone could please post a picture of the bottom of Velka 3 v1.2 as well as the HDPlex plate, I would be super grateful.

Hm I'll take your word for it. I think PC building is like adult legos, it's very simple and all you need is a screwdriver. It's simpler than assembling IKEA furniture imo. Just watch a 30 minute guide online and you're good to go. The only thing different about SFF is that the clearances are...

But the 5L Intel NUC uses FlexATX too. You can also do HDPlex, which is enough for anything you can cool in the Velka 3, and most people won't care about the power brick. But I agree, the only reason anyone will buy that NUC or the Razor case is because they won't know about the Velka 3/Flex...

Production SFFtime presents: P-ATX, the 9L case with ATX and AIO support!

Cool find. I don't think you'd need a a res at all, you can just use the radiator's built-in res. You're basically building an AIO, you can assemble it entirely on its own and just carefully fill and bleed until there's almost no air inside. Or use a funnel as a temporary res, then remove it and...

I just want to point out that Intel's NUC that they announced at CES is a 5L enclosure housing that PCIe PC card with a soldered mobile CPU and SODIMM memory. It supports short GPUs and costs $1700 (!!!) for the barebones kit (no GPU, no memory, no storage) with an 8-core 45W CPU. That's...

I have this crazy idea to watercool the Velka 3: Bear with me -- you get a 2x80mm rad (Alphacool makes one), you get the Eisbear LT waterblock/pump (only 39mm in height), you power the case with a G-Unique 450W so you have the basement empty. You flip the case upside down and mount 2 NF-A8 80mm...

@VELKASE Michael Question, if you use the HDPlex 200 or G-Unique, could you mount a 2.5" drive flat on the bottom? I know you could just use double sided tape, but I have a 15mm 2.5" HDD that I'd like to hard mount to the bottom if possible. Could you include mounting rails for that in a future...

In Optimum Tech's video, he couldn't mount the HDPlex with screws and the rear plate didn't align with the power connector, has this been fixed in the latest version?

It definitely makes sense to wait for the 2060S Mini since it's $100 cheaper than the 2070 and the difference in performance is less than 5%. The non-super cards are not competitive, basically EOL at this point yet they're keeping them alive for some reason. This generation is really messed up...

Sure, that's for a 3-pin fan. But if you have a PWM fan you need to use a 4-pin to 2-pin adaptor like this one: https://www.moddiy.com/products/Fan-4-Pin-PWM-Connector-Male-to-2-Pin-CB-32D-Connector-Female-5cm.html

Great job! By the way, you can use 40mm rubber gaskets to seal the 5mm gap between the fan and the PSU. Also, I think ModDIY makes a 4-pin to 2-pin adapter that would have worked for adapting the fan to the PSU without soldering.

Has anyone done an HDPlex build in the Velka 3 yet? Would love to see it.

Production SFFtime presents: P-ATX, the 9L case with ATX and AIO support!

Oh wow, that pump is tiny (and probably quite noisy), but still with the plexi top the dimensions are 50x50x33. Plus you have to factor in fittings. Are you sure there will be a room for it with an SFX PSU, 120mm radiator, and a 200mm+ GPU? So an AIO won't fit with a rad thicker than 30mm. But...
