The 1050 and 1050 Ti are both rated at 75W with the Ti having slightly lower clock speeds. So it's possible it may be the same for both the 1650 and 1650 Ti.

You should be fine as far as drivers go. Windows 8.1/10 are fairly tolerant of motherboard swaps even to totally different chipsets. You may need to reactivate Windows however. So make sure you have your serial number handy.

I much prefer the thick plate on the front. It loses a lot of character moving it the top IMO.

If no-one was making mATX boards anymore, I assume people would also stop making mATX cases and instead make them for whatever the replacement was. It's not going to happen of course, but neither is mini-DTX.

What I really want is a FlexATX (229 x 191) to replace microATX. It would be a much better middle ground between ATX and mini-ITX.
