Prototype Wallye NMA Carry-On Backpack (SFF / Camera Kit + Laptop)

    If this fits a sliger sm580 and a 16" drawing tablet (440mmx280mmx13mm), I'll buy.

SFF Mini ITX vs Micro PC's?

My point is I appreciate over engineered for silence as opposed to marginal laptop noisy engineered. Just because a system has more leg than you need, isn't a bad thing, and will likely mean you will never tax the cooling solution. If it were me, I would get a lowish tdp i5 or ryzen 3000 with...

SFF Mini ITX vs Micro PC's?

6 years ago(both ivy bridge based), I purchased a Dell Precision laptop for mother in law and built a sff PC for father in law with top shelf enthusiast parts. Both still work, the sff PC gets a lot more abuse and has never had issues. The Dell has been repaired multiple times under warranty. A...

SFF Mini ITX vs Micro PC's?

I find onsite support to be a crap shoot. I've had Dell and Lenovo onsite service multiple times. Lenovo is better though in that I've convinced them more than once to trust my diagnosis and just send me a part. But the on-site techs, when they show up, are frequently not skilled and make...

SFF Mini ITX vs Micro PC's?

Actually it is from a viewpoint of a person who detests noise, especially whiney laptop fans. If I'm reading/concentrating that really bugs me. it does not have to be prime95... even a Windows update or other moderate loads can trigger noise. The more constrained the tdp, the lighter the...

SFF Mini ITX vs Micro PC's?

Lenovo M are high pitched and noisy under load and power crippled. 35watts not enough for i7-8700 to boost fully. Itx will have better vrms and a much quieter heatsink.

Production Sliger SM550/560/570/580 (2 and 3 slot riser layouts, with air and liquid cooling variants)

I'll second this, I disliked the clips at first, but they have loosened up nicely.

Asus Poseidon 1080TI as a 2nd "Radiator", need advice

I was thinking of using this card in a case with an existing 280mm rad that is currently just cooling the CPU. Does anyone have first hand experience with this card in a custom loop? I'm curious how well the integrated water block offloads some heat to the hybrid heatsink and acts as a mini 2nd...

I would not have bought the sm580 if it were bigger, and would have preferred for it to be shorter actually. If someone wants bigger, there is the Cerebus. I think clear size differentiation is a good thing.

@KSliger I got to thinking about all the empty space in the GPU side on my build (sm580), and how well the gpu fan intake + top&bottom exhaust works for thermals. For v2 what about throwing in 4 rivnuts top and bottom/ front back and have an optional support bracket for a 240mm slim rad...

late reply but here goes as I'm now completely done with my build... at least until I upgrade cpu... -have ac power outlet recessed flush to make PCIE screws less a pain. -move ac power outlet up 5+mm and alot closer to mid spine for better GPU clearance and cleaner cable routing, assuming no...

I would also be worried that the riser cable is choking the fan right above it.

So my sm580 build is finally nearing completion. It took a while for indecision and shipping parts from EU + customs. Using an Eisbaer LT + Nexxos ST30 + 4x Be quiet Silent Wings cooling a 1700x with and an air-cooled RTX 2070. While stressing both simultaneously, both stay below 59C while...

I regretted not buying a handle during my order. Sliger wanted $30 +13 shipping for what would have been $20 during the order. So instead I decided to make one from Paracord and QD Sling swivels made for rifles. Costs all of $14, and handle quick detaches for putting inside a tight fitting bag...
