oh wow that was totally not what I expected from cooler master.. especially impressed by the tilting mechanism that's not found in most gaming chairs
I think I got a pretty goof deal on my embody for $900 brand new, while $900 isn't cheap by any means seeing many used ones go for $700+ make me...
took me almost a year of WFH to finally splurge on a good chair coz I can feel my back degrading by the minute
now that I look back I should've gotten it way earlier..
unfortunately this controller is very basic, though according to the datasheet you can add a resistor to some pads to adjust the brightness, so I guess if you added a potentiometer you can have hardware brightness control, and sadly it doesn't support display data channel either so no brightness...
Thanks~
The screen is taped to the T plastic with some 3m removable double sided tape and the plastic is screwed onto an existing 2.5" drive mount on my case
The screen is powered by the internal usb hub through the corsair commander pro, so it technically draws power through the SATA...
got my parts from shapeway!!
swapped out the cooler, it's insanely quiet, but 5800x is such a hot chip.. literally doesn't matter what fan speed I set it at and if the cooler is cool to the touch, with single core boost it will still hit 85+, it averages on 45 and gaming at 60 @1000rpm though...
Earlier last year AMD and Nvidia had my jaw dropped with the new 5000 series ryzen and 3000 series RTX, I knew it was time to upgrade, but my old build had a full custom loop, I didn't really want to maintain a loop again, pump was screaming at certain RPM, the blocks started discolorating, who...
I actually went the exact opposite way, from a custom watercooled sandwich layout to a traditional layout sunmilo c01s
I agree with a lot of what you said and the reason I went this route is because of the effectiveness of deshrouding w/ 120s + CPU cooler clearance, I got tired of maintaining...
aliexpress 180deg pci power adapter and custom cables finally came, I can actually close the side panel now 😂
waiting for my 8 inch display module and silver arrow 130 cooler now...
also interested in building something around the evga one, with the beefy heatsink, ripping the stock fan off and replacing it with a single 120mm might make a great sub 10L ultra quiet 1440p machine, similar layout to case fx mini but with an sfx psu
damn thats some high tech sh!t, haven't been following bike stuff for a few years and they have wireless electronic shifters now?? like 6 years ago i thought my wireless bike computer was cool as heck, also thats a cleeeean bike
Couple weeks ago I got these audeze in ear planar, stock hooks were super uncomfortable so I went through many iterations of ear hooks, also just to learn more about 3d printing in general
while they are comfy and miles better than stock, they aren't as secure as I like, so I finally did...
They sound HUGE, they don't sound like IEMs at all, the soundstage and imaging is pretty much on par with any full size open back, super wide and accurate. Audeze actually calls them in ear "headphones" XD
Bass extends flat to 20hz, extremely quick and punchy, a lot of complicated tracks with...
Yes they are :)
I didn't buy new though, while I love audio stuff $2000+ is way over my budget haha
I'd been eyeing on the LCD2C for a long time and unfortunately I missed the 20% sale a month ago, and I got these for around $1000 which is still not cheap by any means, I was just happy that I...
