You don't have to use it. I don't use any USB port on any of my case, I only use the USB on the monitor, or a USB hub with fast charger connected to a power point. Personally I prefer no port, keep it simple and logativity, there is already talk of USB4...

V5, 3M riser, no USB so we don't need to worry about USB version and connectors. Take my money now! USB on case is uncessary since many monitor have plenty.
