    Log BAOCASE Mini | 2.77L 7800X3D & 4060Ti & internal PSU(with X600-STX 12v input MOD)

Incredible build. Can you explain in a little more detail how placing the resistor there allows you to use 12v input?

Discussion Performance per litre - Round 4

So this isn't better. Using the sqrt, it's compressing the higher performing builds by even worse. It's increasing the score gap between ultra small sbc and itx, when what was needed was to decrease this gap. The original suggestion of changing the formula was to address for (1). the high...

Discussion Can i power a portable monitor from an sfx power supply?

It depends what voltage the monitor expects. It seems that most, if not all portable monitors will only be using a few watts and should be able to be powered by 5v. If it's only 5v, then adapting from the motherboard will most likely work fine as a typical USB 3.0 port delivers 5v @ up to...

    Completed DeskNano x300 - a 1.2L replacement for the DeskMini a300/x300

Thanks to photo by @Kaji it appears that the original Desknano design may still be compatible with the x600, but requires relocating the battery away from the very front edge of the board. The battery is affixed to the rear of the board with double sided tape. This was not extensively tested...

    ASRock’s X600 DeskMini – Finally – Again

Ah interesting. That's good to know it is supported in Ryzen master then because it was missing in the bios.

    Completed J-HACK LANDER for Deskmini

Yes, it should work with any deskmini. And no, the ssd tray doesn't have a hole pattern for a fan, but it would be easy to just drill the mounting holes (or accomplish this is the slicer) if you really want that.

    Completed J-HACK LANDER for Deskmini

With the release of the X600, Lander 37 is now available digitally for interested makers. The core model is up on Etsy for $8 and all accessories are free on Printables. Lander 30 and 55 will also be added soon. Writing the documentation and print guide will take some time, so feel free to ask...

    ASRock’s X600 DeskMini – Finally – Again

Hmm, I thought I remember it mentioned in discord that curve optimizer works? Would be nice to confirm since that feature was absent on the x300

    ASRock’s X600 DeskMini – Finally – Again

Nice review!! We've been hyped for a while for this. Getting a gen 5 link will probably be nearly impossible due to the signal issues. "Gen 5" is technically true at the processor level though. Whether the traces on the board are up to it? HMM. And you need a very high quality shielded riser...

Discussion Performance per litre - Round 4

I would assume the purpose of the exponent is to reward going smaller in general. If there are two builds which have proportionally the same performance, the exponent function causes the smaller one to receive a bonus. I find this is somewhat logical for ITX desktops because the smaller you...
