The oem case can be modded by cuttout out or flattening the original drive standoffs with a hammer, after this, taller drives will fit (sort of):

Drives can also be modded into the top side like this...
So I did test this with the oldest ASRock microcode from original 3.02 bios for ADL, on 12600 and 13600k as well (but with the 8xx bios ui).
The first issue seems to be whether the vendor will display voltage control for Locked chip, and in this case it appears that ASrock decided not to...
Disclaimer: Involves modding the PSU so I would suggest not doing this unless you know exactly what you are doing and the risks involved.
I have noticed that when used in a case without adequate fans, the HDplex GAN can approach 50C skin temperature under normal use, and I measured it up to...
An alternate edition supporting 16mm anti-vandal switch is coming eventually. Possibly next month. It is already designed, but the delay is getting the switches produced. The 16mm switch version may end up being a limited edition.
On another note, a VESA mounting kit is now available here, so...
I've been using the SlimQ 240w for quite a while without issue. There is also a new 150w model with a DC barrel which is much smaller, but I haven't tested it.

Another small update, although I thought this riser would not be compatible with Gen 4.0 speed, this is not true, as ive just tested on ITX and achieved full 4x 4.0 link speed (64 GT/S) and the comparison with x16 4.0 scores was within margin of error on 3060ti. Therefore there appears to be...
After doing some research on getting 13600k to work properly on Asus b660i chipset, it helped me understand why the Asrock b660 deskmini won't undervolt, and exactly why the microcode must be replaced to get this feature to work. This was demonstrated on the German computerbase forum but it was...
Small update, a revision with 40mm Fan has been tested & drops temps by 10C, this gives the HDplex stable ~55C temps at sustained 200w load.
A PWM fan controller with customizable fan curve and thermistor was integrated without increasing the size, the only change is to the length, extended by...
I edited my post but I think I understand what you are trying and it does work in other scenarios (ITX with one psu for board + 2nd psu for card 8pins)
