I'm so happy to see this thread! I still rock a 980Ti along with an ancient 4790k and it still holds up well for most things at 1440p medium or high. I'm hoping to get a 7900XTX and AM5 board early next year with a new monitor as well... as you can see I upgrade about once every 10 years XD...
