Wireless continues to work after bluetooth cuts out. The bluetooth device in "device manager" becomes "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)", which is interesting since it's connected by M2, not USB.

In your shoes I’d go for a nice gaming laptop that is professional enough to work as a daily driver at work/school. The bonus here is that once it starts to lag behind in gaming in a few years you’d be ready to upgrade to a new laptop anyway.

The driver is up to date. I use a Bluetooth keyboard that’s usually within 3 feet of the case. I’ve started to use WiFi vs Ethernet to see if that cuts out at the same time, since it uses the same card.

To be fair, I don't know if it is the 160w DC-ATX or the 160w AC-DC adapter that is the problem child when running a demanding game. It'd be worth testing the new 160w AC-DC adapter with a more robust DC-ATX adapter to find out for sure, but I haven't purchased a new one yet.
