Nice build and Thanks for the info.
Will definitely have to be an external brick, now which one .. that is to be decided or mod the Supermicro 800W PWS-804P-1R like few users have done.
More brain storming is needed!
Will be dabbling in running multiple virtual system with Proxmox and video editing, like already do beats this will help with music production.
I am doing it for fun in a way but logically make sense like we're on the lookout for deals, making offers, sale of previous/unused parts for new...
Thanks! The heatsink is the EK-Quantum Convection M.2 NVMe - Silver, currently unavailable or removed on their website and not sure if it will be restock or maybe a newer version is in the works.
Time for a new build after my small hiatus from my last project concept. Some parts will be familiar like I'm reusing them and others will be upgraded / replaced!

Molex EXTreme LPHPower Receptacle Header (both available through mouser and digikey)
Horizontal: 45984-4343
Vertical: 46114-4241
No problem.
Honestly they are both great cooler and temp differences will be minimal. It might have a slight edge for surface area and the copper variant might run a little bit cooler.
Performance wise the b660 with i5 13500 will be faster, single score will be close but multithread will be about 40% faster.
As for cooling the i5 13500 will run a little hotter by design using it with the stock cooler, a good replacement cooler would be the Thermalright AXP-90 X47.
