@fabio just a guess, but with the heatpipes facing up (opposite to how I’ve done it) the dark rock might hit the top of the case because of its offset design. I think I checked this before I chose to install mine but don’t have a photo and won’t be taking my mine apart any time soon.

You can fit the Dark Rock TF on the Gigabute Z390 if you use a dremel or a hacksaw on the lower heatsink like I did.

Yes, unfortunately I couldn’t install the Mobo without unscrewing the power cable from the case and leaving it hanging out the back of the case. I was hoping I could just remove one of the fans but it’s right on the heatsink itself and the cooler only seems to fit ok in that rotation.

Sorry, I should have also mentioned I’ve had to mod the lower heatsink of the dark rock tf due to interference with heatsinks on the mobo and the ram. Again, will do pics when I can.
