Oh I thought that was the terminology you used but i mean the front part of the tophat, there could be a slit in the front with a removable bay for any 2,5" drive. The S tophat could maybe fit 1 bay, M tophat 2, etc.

This is a great idea, instead of only going for aesthetics you guys could definitely gain support with the SFF community if you added technologies like this that haven't been seen in a case before, you could be the Tesla Motors of SFF cases. That could win you a piece of the market for sure.

this was discussed earlier, one of the add ons on their list is a bottom hat that lifted the case up with "arches" on all 4 sides of the hat for ventilation. They are going to do a test to see if lifting the case up more has an effect on thermals.
