Discussion Ghost S1 and sandwich case users, what are you going to do when you can't upgrade to RTX 3090?

The cases are made to order (or at least painted to order) so a week would be fairly normal to wait.

Discussion Ghost S1 and sandwich case users, what are you going to do when you can't upgrade to RTX 3090?

What is the 2.2 slot 3090? I can fit one of those I think. I plan to just use a 3080, though I had money set aside for a 2080Ti, so I could spring for a 3090 (Or just buy a nicer monitor as well). I have no intention on changing cases, I’m already in a bigger case than I’d prefer. I might be...

I have a brand new Dan Case A4 that I’m not going to be able to build in due to travelling all of next year. $200AUD via PayPal includes shipping Australia wide. Has been opened and the DEMIFlext dust filters have been applied - one has been applied wonky so you willing have to figure out how...

SFF.Network The first Intel Z390 board has been revealed, by ASRock

I’ve been out of the PC game for a long time, so you may very well be right. You can buy 32GB sticks - I have plenty - and Asus does have “DC” double capacity memory support coming out for their Z390 boards. My understanding is that there is some chipset limitation that prevents me just...

SFF.Network The first Intel Z390 board has been revealed, by ASRock

Was awaiting this board specifically as a successor to its Z370 counterpart as I need thunderbolt. Unfortunately the Z390 chipset still seems limited to 32GB RAM by default.

    Best bang-for-the-buck mITX case

I like the Cooler Master Elite 120 over the 130. It’s usually cheaper and includes great drive sleds, which makes installing multiple hard drives a breeze. There’s only official mounting for 3*3.5” drives (or 6 2.5” drives) but you could easily fit a forth in the 5.25” bay. I fitted out my...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Yes, I'm aware of what's being marketed, but there are already 32GB standard sized DIMMs that would allow this (with chipset support), so I'm struggling to see why the giant sticks are needed, unless they are different in some way - or the chipset will support 64GB+ per stick, which should still...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

I thought as much but couldn’t find any official measurements. Or indeed anything that shows how they’re different (apart from form factor) to normal DDR DIMMs. So I’m hoping that Z390 will accept standard, low profile, 32GB DIMMS.

@dondan do you reckon those new double height RAM sticks will fit in?

    News Z390 ITX boards.

Looks like double capacity memory will be supported, but the implementation looks weird. Also really hope ASRock (or someone else) keeps/puts thunderbolt on one of their boards. If not, I’ll will buy Z370 instead to get my external storage array working.

    DAN C4-SFX - old

No strong feeling on the radiator. I would use the single 240 but also don’t think screws on the side panel would detract anything from the case so would be fine if you include the dual 120mm mounts for the people who wanted it. I have USB- C headphones, so USB-C is my ideal front panel audio
